José Vasconcelos Library

Dedicated to the Mexican philosopher José Vasconcelos, presidential candidate and director of the Library of Mexico, the José Vasconcelos Library safeguards 575,000 books and It was called by the local press as the 'mega library'. Work of the Mexican architect Alberto Kalach, is a bright example of contemporary architecture that seeks with its straight lines and in the absence of opaque walls and ceilings, replaced by glass, the natural clarity of the day.

The library conducts cultural activities and workshops free of charge.
